Airport Pickup:  El Catey (Samana) International Airpirt (AZS) and Santiago International Airport (STI) are the closest airports to Samana.   For arrival and departure  through  Puerto Plata International Airport (POP) or Santo Domingo International Airport (SDQ), please kindly add $100 US to the total of your tour. There is no airport pick up for flights arriving after 6:30 p.m. However, our chauffeur will always wait for flights scheduled earlier, that are delayed   For airport return, departing flights must be scheduled no earlier than eleven o'clock a.m. due to the travelling distance between Samana' and the airport.

AIR-CONDITIONING:

Rooms with air-conditioning are an additional $5.00 US per person per day.

 

Electrical cuts throughout the day are common in all  parts of the country. During these times there is no air-conditioning.TIBB, however, does have an inverter system that permits use of overhead fans, TV, lights, etc. during these times.

PRIVATE CHAUFFEURING:

For your second through your sixth day (5 days), please add $575 U.S.  (for complete chauffeuring for entire stay, please see Semi-Inclusive links).  Chauffeuring includes personal chauffeuring to all activities and places anywhere on the Peninsula of Samana for the first five full days of your visit.  Includes tours to other side of Peninsula over the mountains to Las Terrenas, trip to northeastern end of the Peninsula to beautiful Rincon Beach, trip to area of El Limon waterfall for horseback riding, transportation to and from resort (for day pass) and transportation to remote parts of the country for field service with the congretation.
