TOUR:  Horseback riding to El Limon Waterfall.

Dear Marilyn,

We had a great time!. Finding Rodolfo on the dock was easy. Rodolfo was very nice, upbeat and warm.  We enjoyed his company...  Meeting Domingo and the brothers at the Park Fair was nice too.  We all bought some great stuff and wish we could have bought more!  Sorry to see such poverty in DR.  It makes one feel guilty a little but I think about how all of us will be so rich in God's New World and how spiritually rich even the poor can be.

We saw the Kingdom Hall & your bed and breakfast.  It is really nice.  Wish we could have stayed there! The horseback ride to the waterfall was excellent. So refreshing.  My husband's first time on a horse so he was really nervous, but after a while he enjoyed it.  It was fun. We had a great time, wish we could have seen more of the country.  Rodolfo was very kind.  We were very pleased.  Please extend our "thanks again" to him. Thanks for everything, please keep in touch.

Love,

TOUR:  Rincon Beach

The tour was a lovely! I loved the countryside! Rincon beach beautiful! Great food! But the company was the best part!.
I LOVE Eliseo and Domingo.

I enjoyed meeting the other brothers and sisters (who are serving where the need is great in Samana) who were there as well. Your enthusiasm is catching as far as coming there to serve for 30 days and stay at your bed & breakfast! Mama is a regular pioneer I auxiliary pioneer several times a year and the idea of coming there for a month to pioneer really gives me something to look forward to.

.Thank you so much, Marilyn, for being so kind that is the beauty of this wonderful organization we are a part of.

CRUISE SHIP:   NCL Norwegian Dawn - February 8, 2008

TOUR:  Whale-Watch Excursion - Bahia de Samana

We  had a great time on the whale trip and Eliseo really went out of his way to make sure we were happy!   Eliseo was a gem, and we had a lovely time with him. He was very knowledgeable regarding the whale watching!  I'm so glad my friend recommended this tour!  [Please feel free to say that on you website, okay?)

P.S. I have a suggestion to make about the tour with brothers from the Cruise Ships. Please tell the Friends who sign up with your tours NOT to tell the boat that they have alternative tour plans when they are dealing with the cruise line. Perhaps they can say something like, "We've decided not to take the ship's tours. We are going into Samaná to meet up with friends" or something like that. The ship doesn't need to know everything as they try to control money spent by passengers by insisting that  passengers take their tours instead. We had this problem. They can get very overbearing so best not to mention taking the tours with the brothers.
