Tropical Island Bed & Breakfast provides airport pick up & return from all International Airports in the DominicanRepublic with the exception of Punta Cana. Those flying into Punta Cana can take a shuttle flight directly to Samana, arrive within 40-45 minutes and be met by at the airport by our chauffeur

Those flying into a different International Airport may opt not to be picked up there and chauffeured to Samana for  three to five and a half hours, but may opt instead to take a direct shuttle flight to one of Samana's closer airports (El Portilloand El Catey). These airports are approximately one hour from Samana and TIBB provides pick up service to and from these airports as well. (Airport pick up service is included in all Economy,Semi & All-Inclusive vacation packages)

You can charter your own air plane for $85US per passenger (note, 3 passengers minimum). Their flight leaves from Puerto Plata international airport. The pilot will be waiting for you at the domestic flight area with a banner with your name on it. The airplane will be waiting at the airport until you arrive. The flight will take about 30-40 minutes. You will arrive at El Portillo airport By Domestic daily flight and air-charter :

A top recommendation is to schedule a charter flight directly from Puerto Plata's international airports. There will be an airplane waiting for you when you arrive, ready to fly you directly to Samana El Portillo Airport (EPS). It is the easiest, fastest, and most scenic way to get to Samana from Puerto Plata. Alternatively, there are daily flights available from Santo Domingo & Punta Cana within the Dominican Republic.
