PAYMENT POLICY
PAYMENT POLICY:
Full payment is required eight weeks before arrival to hold reservations made for one week or more.
A
non-refundable deposit of $50 US, per person, is required for guests wishing to hold
reservation dates 80 days or more before arrival.
For groups of more
than 10 persons, a non refundable deposit of $100 per person is required for
holding reservation dates 80 days or more before arrival.
For reservations for less than one week, full payment is due either at time of reserving or four weeks before arrival in order to hold reservations. Payments may be made through electronic bank transfer, bank by web, or mail deposit to US bank. At the time of reserving information on how to do this will be emailed to you.
Payment can be made in whole or in part, (i.e. 2-3 installments). Whatever arrangements you would like to make is fine, however, the balance MUST be received and paid no less than sixty (60) days prior to arrival.
CREDIT CARDS: (American Express, Master Card, VISA, or Discover or e-check) are accepted and processed by PayPal. If credit cards are used, a 2.9% surcharge must be added to the trip cost.
Tropical Island Bed & Breakfast cannot assume responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of causes beyond our control such as last minute airline delays/cancellations/changes affecting scheduled airport pick up, transportation strikes, town power failures, weather, acts of God, or other things beyond our control such as your failure to obtain mandatory documents, passports, and visas.
Also, refunds will not be given for personal changes you make to your itinerary and number of days you have reserved and paid for regarding accommodations and scheduled airport pickup and return--due to last minute airline delays or changes. For this reason, we encourage all guests to obtain travel insurance in order to cover such unexpected expenses or losses.
Because time and unforeseen circumstances befall us all, and to avoid high cancellation fees, we would strongly recommend your obtaining travel insurance so that if your vacation tour is cancelled for any of the reasons outlined in the premium, you can file a claim to the insurance company and receive a refund for your vacation package/tour and airline tickets.
