Los Chinos", an authentic typical Chinese
Restaurant, is located two blocks from TIBB, on a hill overlooking the
beautiful Samana' Bay & marina. International cuisine. Excellent
Dominican, Chinese & American dishes. Very reasonably priced. Average
meal: $12-$15 US

According to one customer: "The ambiance is
warm and cosy, great decor. We have eaten here several times and enjoyed
every minute of it. Great ceviche de pescado and seafood, dorado fish
filet with chutney mango sauce in salsa de coco, great list of wines and
desert to die for." Another recommendation: "Whole fish fried in a
banana leaf ". Located only three blocks from TIBB. Reasonably priced.

Bahia Snack Restaurant is considered
to be
the "cool place in town where foreigners & locals go to relax with their
computers and to enjoy great tasting food at reasonable prices. Full
bar service on the largest terrace in the village. One of our
guestscommented that they serve the best hamburgers they've had in the
country!

Cayenas del Mar located right on
beautiful Playa Anadel. Fresh seafood and international dishes
served in a beautiful spacious decor with own private dock &
Beach Club with it's own private dock and full Beach Club. It
has an a-la-carte menu - excellent Samana-style fish and
delicious "dulce de coco" or coconut dessert! Several times a
week at noon, they have an all-you-can-eat buffet for
approximately $10 U.S. several times a week. 10 minute concho
ride out of town.

sidewalk cafe three blocks walking distance from TIBB & opens early
evening. French chef, can be seen near the sidewalk, grilling steaks and
preparing seafood.. French, Dominican, American cuisine. Reasonably
priced. From $15 US. Nice variety of Dominican liquors.
Freshly hand-made Pizza made to
order, reasonably priced! This is a favorite eating place with locals
and visitors.
