EL CATEY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (AZS)
Tropical Island Transportation Service provides airport pickup service from El Catey International Airport, with brothers meeting you as you come out of Customs. Travel time from airports to Samana ranges from 45-minutes to one hour depending upon weather conditions and traffic. On holidays, travel time may be a little longer.
If flight is delayed, the brothers will wait for your arrival. Upon reserving we will give you the e-mail address and cell phone number of the brothers who will be picking you up- in case of a delay or change in flight timel.

Those flying into Punta Cana can take a shuttle flight directly to Samana to El Portillo (EPS) or El Catey (AZS) and arrive within 45 minutes of their departure and be picked up there by the brothers.
Samana-s El Portillo Airport is located between the two towns - Las Terenas on the northern part of the Peninsula and Samana, on the southern side of the Peninsula, being approximately 45 minutes from the town of Samana. There are resonably priced scheduled direct flights into El Portilla Airport from Punta Cana International (PJU) and Santo Domingo International (SDQ).

Those flying in to a different international airport from SDQ, Santo Domingo, or POP, Puerto Plata, may opt not to be picked up there - if their visit is short and they want to save traveling time - but instead, take a direct shuttle flight to one of Samana's closer airports (El Portillo or El Catey or Arroyo Barril). These airports are approximately 45 miniutes from Samana and our transportation service coveres those airports as well. Kindly e-mail to obtain rates.
